Broadly speaking, my research interests include the impact of racial and socioeconomic determinants of health on disparities in oncologic outcomes. A particular interest of mine is endometrial cancer from a genomic standpoint and how that may translate into biologic differences that impact morbidity and mortality.

My research interests lie in finding gaps in palliative care utilization and addressing racial disparity in access to and quality of end-of-life care. I currently work with the Patient Activated Learning System (PALS) to write patient education materials with the goal of ensuring equal access to quality health information for patients and caregivers of all backgrounds.
