What I would like to offer as a collaborator…
My research interest and hopes are to do strengthen the nation’s physician workforce and efficacy through helping to increase the number of underrepresented minorities interested in medicine and understanding the obstacles to this path of NYC residents.
What I am looking for from a collaborator…
As an individual with hopes of pursuing medicine myself, I graduated with a Biology degree with an emphasis on sociology and diversity. Through the Center for Health Equity and the Diversity Center of Excellence we hope to debunk the path to medicine for students and increase the quality of physician-patient relations to address the growing diversity in the national patient population.
