What I would like to offer as a collaborator…
My research interest is in health disparities in advanced heart failure therapy. This research interest relates to my interest in the center because it is in line with the center’s goals to promote health equity. Cardiovascular disease is known to have significant racial disparities in incidence and outcomes, this includes advanced heart failure. My specific areas of interest are related to access to advanced heart failure therapy as well as disparities in outcomes of advanced heart failure therapy – both of which are relevant to the NY community and are intended to ultimately address current health inequities.
What I am looking for from a collaborator…
My professional expertise and experience benefit the Center because I have significant clinical experience with this patient population and have completed research in this area previously. I hope that my membership will provide the opportunity for increased collaboration, networking and enhance my ability to perform this important research.
