What I would like to offer as a collaborator…
I focus on structural racism as a key determinant of ethnoracial inequities in health. In my research, I drawn on administrative data on policing and wealth that are marked by geocoded information. I study the cross sections of race, ethnicity, gender, and class as social conditions undergirding structural racism and its patterned relationship to underlying conditions and psychological distress, and help seeking behavior among Black, Latinx, Asian/Pacific Islander, and white communities..
What I am looking for from a collaborator…
I have expertise in neighborhood effects research and its usage in assessing illness risks of policing in New York City. I have nearly two decades of pursuing methodological training using complex design national surveys. I hope to network and collaborate with similarly minded members of the Center’s community.
