What I would like to offer as a collaborator…
I am working to identify mechanisms leading to health disparities and testing strategies to eliminate them. I have focused my work on the cardio-metabolic diseases and conduct pragmatic trials in real-world settings to test feasibility practical strategies that are effective and well received. I am also focused on patient-centered communication and information to optimize shared decision-making.
What I am looking for from a collaborator…
I have expertise in cardiovascular epidemiology large database analysis pragmatic trials peer coaching interventions and patient activation through a novel patient education platform the Patient Activated Learning System. I hope to use my research and mentoring experience to build a substantial community engaged research program aimed at achieving health equity at Weill Cornell and Cornell University.
