What I would like to offer as a collaborator…
I am a health services researcher with long-term interests that build upon my previous and current work and address three primary areas: minority health disparities quality of life and cancer outcomes. With my appointment in the Division of General Internal Medicine my long-term goal is to build a robust research program at the intersection of primary care and oncology with a focus on minority health disparities.
What I am looking for from a collaborator…
Through rigorous methodological training in epidemiology biostatistics econometrics and measurement of patient-reported outcomes I have developed a broad quantitative skill set. This enables me to lead and design research studies collaborate with investigators across multiple disciplines and implement sophisticated statistical approaches. Through my Center membership I hope to build collaborations with social scientists and clinician investigators to conduct clinically-meaningful health equity research in both oncology and primary care.
