I am pursuing a career in surgery to improve outcomes for underserved patients, and for the West Indian and African American communities that I represent. With this purpose, I am empowered to address health disparities through research, global health initiatives, and policy reform.
What I am looking for from a collaborator…
I aim to connect with others who are dedicated to addressing health disparities so that I may learn from those who have come before me, and collaborate on future projects. As a surgical resident, I hope that my perspectives will also serve as a resource to students as they navigate school, residency, and research environments.
