Health Equity/Research Interest

We will share our work developing the Community Engaged Research Navigation model to help basic investigators engage with community stakeholders to inform early translational research. By engaging communities including those affected by health disparities investigators often find they need to alter their science n order to incorporate community priorities or lived experience that affect the translational potential and potential impact of their work.

Expertise/Goals

We anticipate that closer relationships with the Center will lead to important collaborations research on effective practices and more successful engagement of communities.
