What I would like to offer as a collaborator…
My area of interest is cardiovascular health care disparities, particularly among women and persons of color. I am interested in examining access to care, primordial and primary prevention of heart disease and identification and treatment of heart disease. I am also interested in cardio-obstetrics, especially the connection between obstetrical history and future cardiovascular risk as well as identification and mitigation of cardiovascular complications contributing to maternal mortality rates.
What I am looking for from a collaborator…
I am a general cardiologist who provides outpatient cardiac care, cardiac critical care, and cardiac stepdown care and performs and interprets echocardiography. This involves a spectrum of disease from prevention to advanced cardiac disease necessitating mechanical support. I am heavily involved in community engagement in underserved areas of the New York tri-state area through my professional and civic networks.
I am interested in collaborating on projects addressing preventive and cardiovascular health disparities, cardio-obstetrics, and access to care. I am interested in mentorship of residents, fellows and medical students and receiving mentorship from mid-level and senior faculty.
