Health Equity/Research Interest
My research interests include developing community nutrition programs for low-income Latine mothers of autistic children, using an intersectional and healing-centered approach. I am drawn to building spaces in the community where minoritized mothers of autistic children can connect, where they can feel safe, seen, heard, and understood, where they can release and heal and feel joy, where they can feel empowered and collaborate in community to reimagine this world for them and their children.
Expertise/Goals
I am seeking to connect with community partners, community members, and researchers who are working on projects that promote health equity and social justice and that address the social and structural determinants impacting maternal health.
