Health Equity/Research Interest
My current research interests are in using multivariate statistical theory to solves the major statistical challenges in analyzing big data (electronic health records health insurance claims) and small data (smartphone data) in the context assessing need of mental health interventions among disadvantaged community members and its delivery to the community. I am also interested in the risk prediction of cardiovascular events especially for people with multiple vulnerabilities based on income gender race/ethnicity older age rural vs urban residence health insurance status etc.
I am the Director of the Methods Core of Weill Cornell ALACRITY Center for Late- and Mid-Life Mood Disorders (P50 MH113838) which focuses on behavioral interventions improve the care of older and middle-aged adults with mood disorders treated in the community. I can facilitate connections between CCHEq and ALACRITY. I can also provide statistical guidance to CCHEq investigators in their grant applications.
