Health Equity/Research Interest
offer access to organized occupational populations in Ghana’s urban informal economy (transport workers, market traders) through established community leadership networks, and a community-based hypertension screening model that can generate comparative data on cardiovascular health interventions across African diaspora contexts. I bring on-the-ground partnerships in Greater Accra and experience designing culturally-grounded health education for populations facing systemic barriers to care.
Expertise/Goals
I am seeking partners with expertise in referral pathway design for linking community-screened individuals to sustained primary care, as well as researchers interested in comparative hypertension prevalence and intervention outcomes across populations of African descent in the U.S. and West Africa. I also welcome mentorship on scaling grassroots community health initiatives and navigating funding mechanisms for global health equity work.
