What I would like to offer as a collaborator…
My past research focused on health disparity among older adults who enters NYC emergency room within the five borough abusing drugs and alcohol during 2010 and 2012. Current research focus is based on working with faith based organization such as Elim Restoration Church of GOD in Brooklyn, New York to aide in alleviate or reduce health care disparity among people of color in undeserved area of East Flatbush. The focus will be on education , prevention, training, testing, tracing and psychosocial support with this undeserved population.
What I am looking for from a collaborator…
I am a woman of color, health care provider who participates in Faith base organization engagement outreach programs on gun violence, racism, food distribution and health care issues,etc. Additionally, I am a doctoral professional as well as a Family and psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who has vast amount of knowledge in healthcare disparity, diseases, illnesses, etc. I would be a great assess to participate in this outreach project. Also, I have worked as a professor in CUNY University training a diverse group of students in healthcare. I am hoping to have great collaborations, network with other healthcare champions
