Health Equity/Research Interest

I am a clinician directing the Farmworker Legal Assistance Clinic at Cornell Law School. My primary areas of research are the rights of migrant workers and the overlapping field of farmworker rights. I am currently working with collaborators to theorize “portability of justice,” to develop a methodology for rating xenophobia in social media, and to assess the collection and use of medical information by deportation defense lawyers representing unaccompanied minors. My secondary area of interest is clinical legal education. I’m working with a collaborator on the potential for inter-professional taxpayer accounting-law clinical training to serve low-income taxpayers.

Expertise/Goals

I would like to network with others who are interested in examining the ways immigration legal services providers can contribute to health equity in the communities they serve.
