Health Equity/Research Interest
My research is focused on applying omics technology and data analytics to advance health equity in forcibly displaced populations. I am interested in understanding the determinants of mental health illness in displaced persons using a multi-level approach. My goal is to identify biomarkers that are specific to this population that can help in high-throughput screening of individuals who are susceptible to developing mental health illness.
Expertise/Goals
I am a molecular biologist with advanced training in neurobehavior, data visualization and big data analysis. I have deep interest in global health and human rights. I am looking to collaborate with social scientists, lawyers, digital tools researchers, and physicians to advance the health of displaced populations.
