Health Equity/Research Interest
I am interested in further exploring the concept of psychographics (the why behind consumer behavior), and its impact on healthcare consumption. One key area I have discussed within a TEDx talk, and in a professional capacity, is the rationale for the overuse of emergency room services, compared to primary care. With the cultural movement geared toward quality of care, and punishment for chronic re-admissions/poor quality of care, it is in the best interest of the entire healthcare ecosystem to solve for this complex issue in-particular.
Expertise/Goals
Experience: Six years of healthcare administration experience, primarily in managed care.
Goals: To further my research interests, and help others within my areas of interest. Sharpen my research writing abilities. Publish/co-publish research in the near future. Build relationships with healthcare-centered fellow Cornelians.
