Health Equity/Research Interest
I am the Associate Director of the Sloan Program in Health Administration (confers the Master of Health Administration degree) at Cornell University (Ithaca campus) and teach both graduate and undergraduate courses in population health and population health management. I enjoy working with community partners to use data to solve real-world problems while providing applied learning experiences form my students. I am currently interested in investigating how to integrate the social determinants of health (including ACEs) into patient electronic health records using e-questionnaires mobile apps and georeferenced data.
Expertise/Goals
I would like to collaborate with other interested members around creating holistic recruitment and retention policies programs and practices of graduate students. Additionally I am interested in trading and creating ideas for building inclusive classroom practices and applied learning opportunities as they related to teaching population health.
