Health Equity/Research Interest

Broadly speaking, my research interests include the impact of racial and socioeconomic determinants of health on disparities in oncologic outcomes. A particular interest of mine is endometrial cancer from a genomic standpoint and how that may translate into biologic differences that impact morbidity and mortality.

Expertise/Goals

Cancer disparities persist. As a gynecologic oncologist, I am uniquely positioned to address these issues. It is easy to become siloed in medicine. My hope would be to network with other researchers and perhaps find common ground to collaborate or at bare minimum, hear about new/interesting developments in other fields of medicine.
