Health Equity/Research Interest
I am interested in wealth-related health disparities and stigma surrounding mental health issues.
Expertise/Goals
I am a junior at Mount Holyoke College majoring in Neuroscience and a minor in Critical Social Thought. I am interested in the subject of health equity and mental health treatment in the underserved communities in particular.
In the past, I was a volunteer at Kurn Hattin Home for Children (VT, USA) as well as at the Center for Curative Pedagogy and Differentiated Learning (Pskov, Russia) where I worked with children with affected by adversity and children with mental and/or learning disabilities respectively. I am also a Co-president of Active Minds Mental Health Awareness and Advocacy Group on Mount Holyoke campus.
Although I am not a NYC local, I would love to get involved in Cornell Center for Health Equity and help people attain their full health potential.
