Health Equity/Research Interest

My research aims to understand the interactions among environmental change and livelihood food and nutrition global fisheries and the households that are reliant on the environment to access food and income. The challenges inequalities and unprecedented global environmental change drive my work in two central areas: 1) Effects livelihood and nutrition security and 2) Interactions of resource availability and access with social conflict

Expertise/Goals

My research examines the interactions between environmental change inequality and health in global settings. Lake Victoria in Kenya and in Cambodia provides rich case studies for better understanding these phenomena. Cornell Center for Health Equity I look forward to opportunities to collaborate and engage with a broad network health equity and to engage new tools and opportunities to support the learning of Cornell’s Master of Public Health.
