Health Equity/Research Interest

I seek to understand how environmental and social factors impact purchasing and dietary behaviors, especially in low-income adolescents. I’m also interested in using spatial data to map food environment in urban areas, using such tools to investigate and inform policies targeting food access and health disparities that exist in the neighborhood or community-level.

Expertise/Goals

I have experience in program implementation and evaluation in low-income communities. I’m hoping to connect with other researchers who are deeply engaged in health disparities research. I’m also looking forward to learning from others relevant skills and methods. I believe knowledge from the various disciplines represented in this center can create meaningful collaborations.
